Dubbed the gang's "silver tongue", Yeosang is involved in conducting negotiations between other gangs and ATEEZ, and even within ATEEZ itself (mediating between the capos, associates and the “higher ups”).

Following high school - which he attended with Hongjoong and Seonghwa - he began studying nursing and philosophy at university (but was honestly just doing it because his parents wanted him to). His family were acquainted with Hongjoong’s family, but were not involved with the business.

​

And neither was he, until Hongjoong showed up in his room, covered in blood, in the middle of the night. Yeosang had simply patched Hongjoong up while they talked about the business. Eventually Hongjoong recruited Yeosang into ATEEZ (in 2017) and Yeosang ditched his degree, telling his parents that he was instead doing an “internship” at Victory Banks Inc. (Hongjoong’s father’s bank).

His skill in negotiation is of the highest calibre within the gang - all courtesy of his slightly manipulative nature, unorthodox methods and very savage disposition. He is efficient at getting  the gang what it wants with minimal damages (and maximum profits).

To do that, he established a network of street spies (information is vital for smooth negotiations; “to make them an offer they cannot refuse” ;).
