The proud owner of three casinos (not counting the ones he would inherit from his father), Wooyoung is in charge of running the gambling scene. Much like a treasury, he provides the funds necessary for ATEEZ to run their businesses without getting caught.

He became involved in the gang through his father, who, himself was recruited by Bong-hwa in 1970. A mere 20 year-old, young, rich and naive with a massive inheritance, Wooyoung's father was in desperate need of guidance. Bong-hwa offered him protection from other gangs in return for a share in the casino business he was planning to run at the time.
 

Wooyoung is a major flirt and an excellent businessman – a great combination, as it allows him to gain people’s trust very easily (and then of course their money and secrets). Super rich and very loud, he demands attention wherever he goes - a convenient thing, because it almost removes any suspicion from him. He also sometimes likes to drive the getaway car (“just for fun”).
